The Starlight Review began in January 2011 as an external outlet for Poets and Writers alike. Since then, It has been home to many a Poet, Creative Writer and Photographers. The Starlight Review was born at kristinekenyon.com, a WordPress blog and is being converted to this new site. Published here, you will find authors anywhere from the very little known, to authors you may know quite well.
The inspiration and vision for The Starlight Review began some time ago when writer, poet, former manager at the Flexwriters Creative Network, and graduate of the Long Ridge Writers Group, Kristine Kenyon realized writers don’t get work until they’ve been published and they don’t get published until they find work. A bit of a conundrum wouldn’t you say? Her thought was that there should be someplace where writers and poets could be published without a rigorous portfolio. For most submissions that are accepted in The Starlight Review it would, if for no other reason, give the writer a “clip” to send along with a query when they are submitting other work for publication.
The Starlight Review is a young magazine and as of yet, does not have the resources to pay poets, writers or photographers for their submissions but, that having been said…
